Dr. Adiel Tel-Oren is Raising Awareness of the Child Trafficking in Nepal

Dr. Tel-Oren, well-known to the Seattle natural-health community, is visiting Seattle July 25-27, this time to raise awareness of the need for education in Nepal, in an effort to prevent child trafficking.

A fundraising event supported by the Nepal Seattle Society and Dr. T’s Ecopolitan Eco-Health Community will take place on July 27th in the Everest Kitchen restaurant in Shoreline.

Currently the humanitarian mission called Everest Learning Academy (ELA), funded solely by Dr. T’s earnings, supports 3,000 of the poorest children in Nepal. Through education these children stand a better chance to avoid being sold in India for prostitution, life-time slavery, or organ donation. These children, living in remote agrarian villages with high illiteracy rate, don’t receive protection from the corrupt and resourceless government and are ignored by their impoverished communities. Their own families are so poor that they can’t take care of the children, often needing them to work in the fields instead of going to school.

ELA opened its doors in 2011 and is a network of schools, childcare centers and orphanages that helps the Nepali children by providing holistic education and protection for disadvantaged children in the poorest rural areas.  Dr. T’s goal is to raise awareness and funds to support 100,000 Nepali children. Annual education and care costs only $100 per child. You can join the fundraising event, or donate on-line.  Volunteer opportunities in Nepal are available as well.

In addition to the "Embrace Nepal" fundraiser, Dr. T will give a lecture: The Dark Side of Vaccinations - What Medical and Public Health Authorities Fail (or Refuse) to Share with You - At Your Own Risk! on July 25, and see patients for skin treatment on July 26.

All proceeds from all events fund ELA in Nepal.
